New technologies in medicine were discussed in Open Innovations Forum

– The work of the third themed day “Health Industry” at the Technology Forum and Show “Open Innovations” 2015, which takes place in the VDNKh from October 28 to November 1, 2015, is ended. On this day, experts from around the world have focused on issues dedicated to the regulation of the health care industry, the present and the future of innovation development of medicine and pharmacy, information technologies in the health care market. said, speaking at the opening of the panel discussion “Global health industry. How can Russia remain in the market of global innovation?”. When solving existing problems in the industry, it is not enough to use the international experience – it is necessary to become better in all elements that form the medicine and biotechnologies: tax system, regulatory standards, scientists, infrastructure should become the best in the world, founding partner of “RMI Partners” Leonid Melamed

Chief Urologist of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Head of the Department of Urology of the Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry, was the impact of robotization on health care and medicine.
On the third day of the Forum, a number of agreements were signed. CEO of RVC JSC Igor Agamirzyan
and Rector of Tomsk State University Eduard Galazhinsky
signed an agreement for cooperation. Agreements were also signed between the residents of “Skolkovo” Fund “VisionLabs” and “Promobot”.
On the third day of the Forum, three contests were summed up. An official ceremony of awarding of the 4th All-Russian Challenge Cup to the title of “Best Innovative Region of Russia” – 2015 was held. Moscow got the winner cup in the prize “Best Innovative Regions of Russia” - 2015, the top three also included St. Petersburg and Belgorod Region. “Skolkovo” Fund announced the winners of the contest of the cluster of space technologies and telecommunications of “Skolkovo” Fund SKonnekt – “Microwave systems “WiMark Systems” and PromoAtlas project became the winners. The final of “UMNIK” program was held, which was organized by the Fund for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology.
Bright events of the Technology Show became the first annual conference of the Youth Community of Neurotechnologists, in which framework a demonstration battle of a cyborg cockroach and a robot cockroach was held; as well as a demonstration of a simulator for surgeons, 3D-printing of orthoses and oculography systems at the stand of the Fund for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology; excursion of the “Health Industry” day at the stand of “Skolkovo” Fund; projects of the Youth Program and activities of Innokids program.

About the Technology Forum and Show “Open Innovations”
The Technology Forum and Show “Open Innovations” 2015 is the largest in Russia event, revealing the topic of the future of technology in modern life, economy and society.
The Forum is held since 2012 under the auspices of the Government of the Russian Federation, with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and with the participation of the Government of Moscow, as well as the Russian development institutions of OJSC “ROSNANO”, OJSC “RVK”, the Foundation “Skolkovo”, Vnesheconombank, the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Fields. The operator of the Forum is the Foundation “St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.” Over the years, the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the heads of the governments of some foreign countries, the representatives of the large companies took part in the Forum.
The Forum participants include major technology companies and young start-ups, venture industry and state development institutions, visionaries and engineers, suppliers and consumers of technology.
This year’s event will be held in a new format of discussions “sans ties”, in the truly informal and interactive environment. In addition to the plenary presentations, the master classes, free lectures, presentations, debates, workshops, public interviews will be held during the Forum.
The discussions will be built around the topic of “The Man at the Crossroads of the Technology Revolution Trends" and focused on five key areas of the human life, changing dramatically under the technology influence: productivity, habitat, education, health and show-business industry. A certain day of the Forum will be dedicated to each of these areas.
